Alan L. Berger

Alan Berger is a television agent at Creative Artists Agency [CAA].  CAA is an entertainment and sports agency based in Los Angeles, California, with offices in Nashville, New York City, London, and Beijing. Berger is based in the Los Angeles office and works with news and public affairs personalities in addition to writers, producers, directors, and production companies.


A veteran agent who headed International Creative Management’s [ICM] television department for 13 years, serving as an Executive Vice President, Berger also ran the television side of the management business at Artists Management Group.

Berger began his entertainment career in 1979 at the William Morris Agency, where he became Head of TV Packaging. Before that, he worked in advertising, first at Leo Burnett in Chicago and later at Young & Rubicam in Los Angeles.

Berger is a visiting professor at USC's School of Cinematic Arts.
